these are just a few tips, you dont need to follow ALL them 

have a clean theme/blog

delete all text after 5-20 min. don’t make anything too flashy its annoying & gives people headaches. make sure people can actually READ the text , dont have a black background & then grey text.

do promos

ask people for promo4promo, double promos & reblog other promos, try to stick to ones 30 and less or else they wont work. make your own promos once you have over 1,000 followers but stick to 15 reblogs & less

reblog photos that what people follow you for !

stick to one theme, don’t be a summer blog then a party blog the next day

make your blog unique

since there are SO many hipster / summer/ fashion blogs here, you want something about your blog that will make it stand out above the others

participate in BOTW/BOTM

personally i dont like do these anymore cuz it takes too much time getting votes , but if you win one it is very rewarding ( promos + followers ) 

talk to other people / promo games / tumblr fam

most bloggers on here are nice & love talking to their followers !

set up a hit counter / users online script

this really helped me cuz i knew how many people had gone to my blog & such !

also having a users online script makes your blog look a lot more …legit/ professional idk lol but its a good idea to get one :) 

dont hate / self promote

thats how you get UNfollowers
